Linda says
"There are many problems that individual countries cannot solve alone, and where we have to work together. That is why the work of the European Union is so important and why the European Parliament, where I represent the needs of people from Yorkshire and the Humber, matters. From improving tap water standards to improving food labeling, cleaning up beaches to protecting the rights of air travelers, cutting out dangerous chemicals from everyday use to improving conditions at work through the Social Chapter, our work as Labour MEPs makes a real difference."

The expenditure of Labour MEPs' general expenditure and secretarial allowances is reviewed through an audit process carried out by an independent qualified accountant who provides the EPLP with a signed letter testifying that the allowances have been spent in accordance with the Parliament rules and the EPLP's own guidelines. Please find a copy of this letter here.
