Brian says:

"Being born in the North West, educated in the North West and having lived all my life in the North West, I have a strong attachment to the region, and deem it a privilege to be able to represent the North West in the European Parliament. The European Parliament is becoming more and more important in peoples lives. Like it or not, the European Parliament does make laws that affect the lives and jobs of every citizen who lives in our region and our country. That's why it is important that the people of the North West not only have affective representation in Brussels and Strasbourg, but also have representatives who are committed and hard working. My pledge to the people of the North West is simple: to work hard for you, to be accessible and to represent you to the best of my ability.”
