EPLP Spokespeople

Labour has an official spokesperson for each committee in the European Parliament. These MEPs represent Labour policy on these committees and act as spokespeople on the subjects covered by the committee.

Our spokespeople also have a key role liaising with the Labour Government in London.
Each spokesperson also acts as a "Link" member with a minister in a relevant Government
department. Each Link Member attends meetings with Ministers and one member of each
Departmental team is responsible for relations with the European Parliament.
